FAQ

  • I have no water

Check that the main water valve is open. This is located close to the front door, generally in a water meter pit or in a cupboard next to the front door.
If the valve is open and you have no water, the water supply company may be experiencing a problem. Please contact the water supply company and ask whether there are any known problems.
If this is not the case, please contact the office and ask for a plumber to visit

  • I have no hot water

The water in the home is heated by the central heating system, which also heats the radiators. If you have no hot water, check whether the water pressure in the central heating boiler is adequate. If it is lower than 1 bar, add water to the central heating boiler as described under the Heating section.
If the pressure is correct, check whether or not an error code is present in the display. Error codes typically consist of a digit and an alphabetic character; e.g. "E01".

  • I have a sewage leak

If you have a leaking drain or sewer, make sure that as much as possible of the leaking fluid is collected in a tray or bucket. Prevent damage to the home. Call GOETH Beheer to have the leak repaired.

  • The dishwasher doesn't work

Check whether you can find the cause. If the power supply to the dishwasher has been interrupted you may be able to solve the situation very easily by switching the associated electrical group back on in the meter cupboard. If this is not the case, please contact GOETH Beheer.

  • My toilet is blocked

Check whether you can see a blockage. Put on a pair of long rubber gloves and try to remove the blockage from the toilet bowl. If this is unsuccessful, try using a plunger. Place the rubber bell-shaped head over the hole in the toilet bowl and push down on the handle a number of times. The rubber head will create a vacuum and dislodge the blockage.
If this is also unsuccessful, please contact GOETH Beheer.

  • My shower / bath drain is blocked

Check whether you can see a blockage. Remove any hair and fat that can easily be taken out of the drain. Pour boiling water down the drain and wait for 10 minutes.
If this is unsuccessful, try to unblock the drain using a rubber plunger. Place the bell-shaped rubber head over the drain and push down on the handle a number of times in order to create a vacuum and unblock the drain.
If this is also unsuccessful, try using liquid drain cleaner from HG. This brand causes the least damage to drain pipes. Read the instructions on the container carefully before use.
